This is from another site but it's helpful...
Motorcycles unlike cars have 2 tires that do 100% of the steering, stopping & keeping the bike upright, cars have 4 tires, if one goes flat you still have some ability to steer , stop & the car wont fall over, so I cant tell you how important tire care is.
Your on a blast & in the middle of nowhere & your steering starts to feel very heavy or your rear starts getting loose, that |

| do you know where to get some kind of mushroom shaped patches that are inserted from the outside and then the head expands ? |
